MOVING IN

We help to place your furniture and accessories in your new home.

You are in your new home… Boxes everywhere… You’re having a difficult time deciding where things should go…

We’ll make the task of placing your items quick and painless. We’ll evaluate your current belongings, place the furniture, select and hang artwork and mirrors, and creatively accessorize each room in fresh new ways. We’ll even help you measure and order just the right blinds.

After your items are placed, we will make a list of suggested items you may want to buy to finish the look or use our shopping services, and let us do the legwork for you. We’re here to make your new house your home as easily as possible for you.
If you need to paint your walls before having us accessorize, our color consultation is a great place to start!

MOVING OUT

Need your home staged for a quick sell?

Statistics show that staged homes sell quicker and for more money than homes that have not been staged.

Home staging is more than preparing a home for sale. Staging is what you do after you’ve cleaned, decluttered, and made minor repairs. It is about creating a great first impression that generates interest from buyers.

Walk and Talk Consultation—This is a complete walk-through of the interior and exterior of the home. We will discuss strengths and weaknesses of the property, as well as suggestions and recommendations you will need to prepare your home for sale. We will help you edit what should stay and what should go.

Room Staging—Azure Interior Design will arrange your room to accentuate its best features. We will look at each room from a buyer’s perspective. Then, rearrange, eliminate, and position the furniture and accessories to create that “Wow” factor that buyers respond to. We will make every effort to use what you already own. Some projects may require additional items.

Choices. Choices. choices...let us help you make sense out of all those choices.

Before starting a renovation project or building a new home, it is wise to consult an interior designer. We will help you think through your choices and avoid expensive mistakes. Planning ahead will allow you to have more design freedom and less frustration once the walls are up. Some things to consider: lighting, outlets, motorized blinds, traffic patterns, and blocking for window treatments.

We will also guide you in selecting finishes—flooring, tile, countertops, cabinets--that will create a smooth flowing interior, adding to the value of your new home.

Clip a photo of a room you love from a magazine or other source, and we’ll work within your budget to help you recreate a similar room.

During our initial visit, we will compare your space to your ‘inspiration room’ photo. We will look at what you already have and get you started with a wall color. We will discuss how much you want to spend and see if other items in your home will fit into the plan.

Then, we will begin shopping for the major furniture pieces, lighting, accessories, and artwork. We’ll return with a list of all the items you will need to complete your new room, with pictures, prices, and locations. You may take our shopping list and complete the purchases yourself, or we will implement the final phase of your design plan by purchasing the items and arranging the entire room for you.

We give you the option of having us do as much or as little as you like to turn your dream space into a reality!

When you’re looking for those hard to find accessories, furniture pieces, or lighting fixtures and you do not have time or energy to figure out what to buy or where to find it, we’ll be happy to do it for you or you may join us. We will shop for one room, several rooms, or an entire home.

Our experience will work for you, to secure the perfect pieces. We may shop at local stores or use our ‘designer only’ sources to find those special pieces—whatever your style and budget dictates.

This service includes ordering/shopping and the delivery of merchandise to your home.

One of the most practical time and money-saving steps in professional interior design is creating a space plan. This service includes drafting your space out to scale and arranging furniture to create the most desirable traffic patterns and focal points. We take the exact dimensions of your furniture and your room to provide a plan that lets you know how specific pieces will or will not fit in the overall plan. You will not find yourself standing in the showroom, wondering if the rug, entertainment center or sofa will fit because we will provide you a plan, including dimension guidelines to follow. This service saves you time and money because you will be able to make quicker decisions knowing your purchases will fit when you get them home. A space plan is invaluable when shopping for major pieces of furniture.
